Results - By County

Using the links below, you can access charts that summarize key substance use and risk factor percentages among students who participated in the past four survey years -- 2008, 2006, 2004, and 2002 -- in specific counties.

Please note that different variables were included in the charts for different years.

Not all counties are included; only those counties in which at least two districts participated are shown. Counties in which just one district participated were excluded because we release single district reports only to those schools for use in their own communities. Because of the participation of elementary or high school districts as well as K-12 districts, some counties' data is available at just the elementary or just the high school level.

Note of Caution: In most cases the youth usage rates presented do not include every school in your county, and so the data may only be accurate for those schools that participated. Caution is particularly needed if the urban center school districts in urban/rural counties did not participate. In addition, if the students surveyed in a school are not representative of the whole grade level, then countywide results may be biased to some extent.

To view the charts on the pages below, you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

To use one of these charts in a word processing document or an electronic presentation such as a PowerPoint file, while you are viewing the chart, capture the image to your clipboard with the Alt – Print Screen key combination and then paste it into your document or presentation. Another possibility that might result in a crisper image is to print the chart, scan the printed copy with an image scanner, and import the scanned image into your document or presentation.
